Halloween is just not the same this year, no parties, and no dances but this does not mean no fun. Come for a laugh, come for a drink, come for a wing, just come.

Join your local Host Lady Rae-Vyn from YourTV local show "Str8 Talk", with a special guest appearance by Geri Atrick, on Saturday October 31. 2020 for a night of comedy. Come on down the Moose’s Cookhouse, 134 Main Street E, North Bay. The event kicks off at 7pm.

Geri Atrick had this to say, “Oh my god Pigeon, I do not have to be PG finally? I can just let loose and say what is on my mind? Well, you just never know what will come out of my mouth. Bring on the wine! Hope to see you there, Pigeon.”

Jocelyn Green the Organizer of this comedy night had the following to say, “We are in difficult times and people need to laugh. We put together a great line-up of comedians just to help everyone feel better. What can be better for the soul than a night of laughs with friends? All Covid protocols are in place. The Moose is going out of their way to make this a safe and fun night. What else are you going to do on Saturday night in North Bay? And it is Halloween!!! Have fun, dress up and come out if you dare! LOL"

Tickets are on sale through the link below. Advance tickets are $15, at the door is $20. Let us support local business and local artists.

Can’t wait until you can shuffle through the CDs we have, looking for a copy of a rare disco hit or your favourite song of the summer of ’65? Are you getting a little obsessive because your book shelf is obviously missing Sue Grafton’s mystery Y is for Yesterday, or you’re tired of the cookbooks you have and are in need of some new inspiration? Have you watched your old DVD copy of Sound of Music so much that it is no longer one of your favourite things? The Kingston Symphony Volunteers can help!

Our online store is now live! We have put a large number of items online, and you can now look for your favourite books, CDs, and DVDs to alleviate some of the boredom this pandemic has caused. Several thousand individual items are on the site now, and we will work on adding more each week including new genres of books. Vinyl records are coming soon and we plan to add household items and Christmas décor by early December.

Start shopping now by:

  1. Visiting kingston-symphony-association.myshopify.com.
  2. Select the items you wish to purchase.
  3. Use your credit card or PayPal to pay for the items.
  4. Wait 2-4 days to receive pickup confirmation email.
