All of the kits are inspired by videos on CKPL's database CreativeBug. CreativeBug provides instructor led videos for beginner to expert level makers on art and design, sewing, quilting, paper, knitting, crochet, food, home, jewelry, and holiday! CreativeBug is available to use 24/7 from any location with an internet connection.

A normal Santa Claus Parade can't be held this years as road closure permits are not being issued by Selwyn Township due to COVID-19.

Our Lakefield and District Lions Club has decided we will have a 1st Time Ever Drive-By Santa Claus Parade allowing families to to drive by and see Santa and other Christmas Floats

Floats will be lined up on Nicholls Street in Lakefield across from the Legion and The Curling Club

The Drive -By Santa Claus Parade will be held on Sunday November 22nd at 1pm

Community Event - Sarnia - Clothing Swap / Échange de Vêtements

Bring your lightly wearing clothes by October 30 at the community center. You will receive a credit for each item of clothing you bring in to the French community center of Sarnia. Afterwards on November 21st, you will have the opportunity to "buy" clothes for 1 credit / item. (We will try to organize the clothes by gender and height.)


OUR CRITERIA
We accept clothing, shoes and bags for women, men and children of all sizes.

We accept clothes in excellent condition, that is to say:
- no holes
- no missing buttons
- functional zippers
- no yellowed collars
- no halos
- no undone hems
- no stretched material
- no sweaters that pill
- no cracking leather


We do not accept the following items:
- padded bras
- panties
- socks
- tights
- glasses
- jewelry
- make-up
- home decorations
- cell phone cases
- nightgowns

Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - Rotary Club of LaSalle Virtual Trivia Challenge

Francois Jacques from Mack Flash Entertainment will be the quiz master for this years Trivia Challenge, which will be Virtual.  Your support will fund the needs of our Rotary Projects.  Tickets only $10 for trivia - and a chance to win great prizes.  Ten dollar donations are also welcomed!
