Distinguer la violence conjugale d’un conflit de couple ;

Care for the Caregiver

Lise Leblanc, author and registered psychotherapist

Whether professional or personal, caregiving can be physically, mentally, and  emotionally exhausting. The chronic stress of these roles and responsibilities can become overwhelming and lead to burnout. In this workshop, you will learn the importance of making yourself a priority, including how to take charge of your own wellness needs through healthy adjustments to your thoughts, emotions, and actions. You will leave this workshop with a whole new awareness of yourself and a renewed commitment to making positive changes to your caregiving situation.

As a therapist for over twenty years, Lise Leblanc has seen the devastating effects that caregiving can have on people, especially when they are not taking care of themselves. She also has first-hand experience from her own caregiving journey. She was the main caregiver for her grandmother who had Alzheimer’s disease after her grandfather died suddenly.
