On Saturday, March 21st, wrap up your children's March break with this fabulous production by Jeunesses Musicales Canada. Cheer on four accomplished flutists as they train for the “music” Olympics. They will show us the various types of recorders that produce soprano, alto, tenor and bass tones and demonstrate them by playing a variety of music including baroque, contemporary, popular and world music.
11:00 AM concert is geared to 3-5 year-olds, the 1:30 PM concert appeals to 6-12 year-olds. The North Bay Horticultural Society invites you to our first 2020 meeting. We will be kicking off our gardening season with a pot luck supper followed by our general meeting then Q & A segment with our Master Gardeners. Our guest speakers will be Ted and Isla Reed. The purpose of The Sanctuary Course is to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. It helps to develop tools, training, and resources that will enable the Church to be a sanctuary--a safe place for people suffering in their mental health. Over the course of 8 sessions, you will be introduced to research, resources, and language to help you reframe the subject of mental health as you look at it from the psychological, the social, and the theological perspectives.
