On December 1st, 2019, Erika was involved in a tragic car accident on the QEW in Niagara, Ontario. At the young age of 24, she was taken too soon from her loving Family and friends  

In honour or Erikas life and her deep love for animals, her family and friends will be hosting an event on February 8th, 2020 between at 12pm to 5pm. 
The venue will be at St.Alfred Church Hall - 272 Vine St, St.Catharines.


At the event, food and beverages will be available. A wide variety of culinary options will be offered with vegeterian and vegan friendly choices available.
There will be raffles, a toonie toss, and many games where you can win prizes as well!
"Remembering Erika" T-Shirts will be sold for $20 each.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the Lincoln County Humane Society.

Community Event - Chatham - Adulting 101 at CKPL Tackles Sewing

Have you stopped wearing those pants, you know the ones that are too long now that the hem has fallen out, or that shirt with the missing button? Chatham Branch of Chatham-Kent Public Library can help with that! Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room, come and learn how to do basic sewing that will rejuvenate your wardrobe. Seating is limited, so registration is required.  Call 519.354.2940 or visit search.ckpl.ca and search “sewing 101” to register yourself online.

Sewing 101 is a part of the Adulting 101 program series at Chatham-Kent Public Library. We recognize that being an adult can be hard. This an opportunity for adults (16+) to come together and learn different life skills in a fun and welcoming environment.

Adulting 101 programs will take place on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Chatham Branch, Meeting Room.
