Come out and see the latest developments in the restoration of Burlington's historic 1906 Grand Trunk Railway station (known as Freeman Station). This is a free event and fun for everyone from the young, to the young at heart!

One day only, Saturday October 13 from 12 - 4pm. 1285 Fairview St, Burlington (next to the Fire Station which will also have an open house, that day only!)

There will be members present to tell you about Burlington's railway history, the restoration of the station, check out the running model train layout and you can even ring the historic steam engine bell!

What's new? Vintage track installed across the front of the station! New wooden platform installed! Antique velocipede! Historic CN jigger and trailer! Waiting room 90% restored! Basement 75% restored with running G scale model railroad depicting life in Burlington area! $10 tickets to draw for 2 Toronto Maple Leafs tickets (very good odds of winning!)

Visit our Treasure Room for fine china, crystal, personal accessories, jewellery, and home decor. Also delectable baked goods and preserves are available in our Bake and Deli shop. There's sewing, crafts and Christmas decor found on the second level and take time to visit the giant garage sale where you'll find that item you've been looking for. Please stay and join us for lunch from 11am to 1pm featuring our delicious meat pies.
