The Jocko Point Community Centre will host a pancake breakfast on October 14 from 8 to 10 am. Breakfast includes eggs, sausages, pancakes, toast, juice, coffee or tea. Adults: $8. Children 7-12: $4. Children 6 and under: free. All welcome!
Join us as our 70-voice choir takes you “AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 SONGS (or less)”, with songs from all our favourite musicals! The choir is accompanied by a slide show commemorating the musicals and their stars, plus the countries we visit on our journey.
Adults: $15 Students: $8 Under 12 free.

Annual Turkey Dinner at Emmanuel United Church, 458 Ashley, Foxboro Wed Oct 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Harvest vegetables, home made pies and all the trimmings. In the Cataraqui Region are few things as awe-inspiring as the natural splendour of fall foliage, when the leaves on many species of trees change from green to radiant reds, oranges and yellows.
Visitors are welcome to come out to the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority’s Fall Colours Weekend (which is also Thanksgiving) from Saturday, Oct. 6 through to Monday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and walk or hike on our trails. CRCA staff will be on hand to suggest routes and provide maps. You can also purchase a mug of cider or snack at the Outdoor Centre and enjoy the view from the West Hall.
