The Welland Port Colborne Concert Association starts off 2025 with a wonderful brass quintet, Hogtown Brass on Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 PM at Centennial Secondary School, Welland.

Hogtown Brass is a dynamic Canadian ensemble comprised of accomplished musicians from a variety of diverse artistic backgrounds. Known for their unique arrangements and new compositions, collaborations with vocalists and instrumentalists, along with an affinity for both standard and non-traditional performance spaces, Hogtown Brass is on a mission to reinvigorate the entire concert experience for their audiences. 

Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for students. They are available online at www.wpccaconcert.org or at the door.

For only $15 per person, you can enjoy a hot lunch & card party with door prizes  and silent auction. Funds are raised to support church projects. 

The Breakfast is served Buffet style and contains almost all the favorite Breakfast Foods.  Never leave hungry.  est Breakfast you can get at anywhere close to the price of ours. This is a fundraiser by the Knights of Columbus in Cobourg.

Robbie Burns Day Meal to go order deadline: January 20, 2025

Robbie Burns Day Meal to go pick up: January 24, 2025 12pm to 2pm. 

The first Burns super was held in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1801 to celebrate the life of Scotland’s National Poet Robert Burns. Robbie Burns Day is considered a key cultural heritage event in Scotland. Hutchsion House Museum will celebrate Robbie Burns Day with a take home meal on January 24, 2025. Celebrate this Scottish icon with a traditional Scottish meal made up of all your Hogmanay favorites. You must pre-order your meals by January 20, 2025. Meals will be available for curbside pick-up between 12pm and 2pm on January 24, 2025.  Meals are $30 and will include: a Scotch egg, tatters and neeps, oatcakes, cheese, a sample of potted salmon, shortbread and clootie dumpling. For an extra $5 you can also get a piece of Haggis.
