Ring in the Holidays with the WSO! Yuletide carols will be plentiful as Maestro Franz whisks audiences away to the tune of the 12 Days of Canadian Christmas. All aboard the Polar Express as music from the film transports you to the North Pole! Santa Claus joins the celebration to lead everyone in a round of sing-along carols. The Windsor Symphony Orchestra Masterworks Series:
Windsor pianists Dr. Gregory Butler and Dr. Christine Vanderkooy join forces to perform the Canadian Premiere of the orchestral version of Mozart’s engaging Concerto No. 10 for Two Pianos. Two more works round out the program: Lunar Reflections by Canadian composer Heather Schmidt and Beethoven’s energetic Symphony No. 2.

In 1918, the Great War ended when Germany signed an armistice agreement with Allied forces. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, The WSO has created a moving Remembrance Day program. Featuring WSO Concertmaster Lilian Scheirich, the performance pays tribute to those who experienced the horror and devastation of the First World War.

FRIENDS Peterborough Fundraiser Concert on August 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Del Crary Park featuring Pete Gauthier, Washboard Hank & the Wringers and the McDonnel Street Gospel Quartet. FREE ADMISSION! All proceeds go to FRIENDS Peterborough, a downtown agency offering "help, hope and a hand up".
