This Family Day, YMCA Northumberland and Realty Executives Pentel Ltd. Brokerage - Daniel J Bulger, invite you and your family to spend the day being active together at Cobourg or Brighton YMCA.

Activities at Cobourg YMCA will include swimming, recreational sports, access to the Personal Conditioning Centre, family yoga, rock climbing and the three-level indoor playground. 

At the Brighton YMCA, the fitness facilities will be available for the community to try out (12 years and older).

This event is FREE. Donations to YMCA Strong Communities Campaign are welcome to allow us to help even more people access YMCA programs and services. 

 Small indoor market, running the 2nd and 4rth Tuesday of the month, until May, to support our local Legion. Handmade jewelry, home baking, custom wood creations, Norwex, Voxxlife, the Bitery, and more! The kitchen will be open to purchase lunch.

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, starting at 9:00 am, the YMCA Northumberland is launching its annual YMCA Strong Communities Campaign with the kick-off event, Cyclemania and Dragonboat Tug-O-War. 

Cyclemania features three CycleFit sessions where Individuals or groups can register for a minimum pledge of $10 (per session).

9:00-9:45am Country versus Rock 
10:00-10:30am Fiesta
10:45-11:15am Wedding Crashers

Participants are encouraged to have fun by dressing for the theme. Prizes awarded for best costume, best spirit, and top fundraiser.

Dragonboat Tug-O-War - Get six team members together and challenge an opposing team, or let us match you up. Be the first team to paddle the boat over the line to collect all the fiery glory! Registration is $125 donation per team. Dragonboat races begin at 11:30 am. Team picture and cheering section included.

This event is open to anyone, no experience necessary.

We start our season with an ‘American Farce’ by the comedy master, Neil Simon. In upscale New York, the Deputy Mayor has just shot himself. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in his bedroom and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife Chris must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. *The show contains some coarse language.

Evening performances are at 7:30pm; Afternoon performances are at 2:00pm.
