On Saturday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Lambton County Library will hold its regular bi-annual event with recent discards from the Library's collections.  The book fair offers a variety of genres for all ages including fiction, non-fiction, and Christmas materials.  Materials at this event are available through a donation to the Library.  Proceeds from the book fair are used to enhance the library system.  For more information, please call 519-845-3324.   Library Headquarters is located at 787 Broadway St., Wyoming, behind the County of Lambton Administration Building.

St. Joseph's CWL Tea and Bazaar Saturday, October 28th, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Featuring Lunch Room, Bake Table, Crafts, Treasure Table. Lunch: Adults $6, Child $3, Family $15. Raffle Draws at 2:00pm. 399 Victoria Avenue East. Handicapped accessible.

Fish and Chip Fridays are held twice monthly at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95 in Smiths Falls. A large piece of beer battered fish served with french fries is only $10 and you can add a 2nd piece of fish for only $5. This delicious meal is served from 4-7pm in the Lancaster Room. The Friday dates in November are Nov. 10 and Nov. 24. Members, guests, and public welcome.
