Celebrate Halloween with Oakville Historical Society Ghost Walks through Old Oakville. Join ghost characters from the 1800s for family friendly fun and learning about Oakville's history, followed by light refreshments and discussions.

Ghost Walks run daily at 6:30 and 8:00pm excluding Sundays.

The Oakville Historical Society is proud to participate In Culture Days, a national celebration of arts and culture. Join us to explore interactive demonstrations and learn about the life of early settlers at The Thomas House, built in 1829 as the original home of The Thomas Family, and now furnished and presented as a pioneer home of the 1830 -1840s.

Women are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel. This classic play tells the story of Truvy’s in-home beauty parlor and the women who frequent it. As the women confront their own unique challenges, they rely on their friendship to get them through some of the hardships of life: health, family, religion, and relationships.

Rez Gas

A world premiere musical about discovering home. 

After moving away from his home reservation to pursue a music career, Destin stumbles back into town with unexpected car trouble and lands at the Wide Wigwam, the diner at the centre of the community. There he finds many of those who he left behind and who want to remind him of his history and his place in the community. Described as Corner Gas meets Come From Away, Rez Gas is a beautiful expression of Indigenous joy with a hip-hop-infused, unforgettable score.
