St. Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus Council are back to serving their next delicious Community Family Breakfast on Sunday, May 25th in the St. Francis de Sales Parish Hall (434 Second St. W.) from 8:30am to 12pm. Complete breakfast including bacon, sausages, eggs any style, beans, home fries and beverage. All are welcome. Fully accessible venue with elevator service provided.

These Community Family Breakfasts are held to raise funds in support of the Knights of Columbus Council's charitable programs in the Cornwall community.

Heritage and Cemetery Memorial Service at Salem United Church. The Heritage Service will be in the church, followed by the dedication of the Cemetery as a United Empire Loyalist resting place and the dedication of the restored stone walls. The Memorial Service will take place in the Cemetery, weather permitting.  A lunch provided by the Salem United Church Women and a time for fellowship will follow.  This is an opportunity to celebrate Salem United Church history and honour the memory of all those who are buried in the Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.

Friends of the Garden invites you as we take a guided tour of the Pitt Street Garden. Owner/operator Dan Marion will highlight the many features of the one acre micro farm, which boasts over 100 mixed species of fruit trees and fruiting shrubs. Knickers! is a hilariously irreverent comedy that celebrates determination, hope, friendship, entrepreneurial spirit, and the willingness to bare it all! When the paper mill in a fictitious, rural Ontario town shuts down, a trio of brassy, Wednesday-night weightwatchers and a new friend in town become an unlikely, determined foursome that rallies the community to save both jobs and spirits. Could the friends’ business plan of creating a custom underwear business (complete with giant knickers as a roadside attraction) really be the town’s salvation?
