The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay is producing Backpacks of Love filled with donated essential items. 

We need the community of North Bay’s generosity!

Donated items will be accepted at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, 480 McIntyre St. W. (at the garage location across the street from the church) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

New items needed include:

Sturdy backpacks/duffle bag                                     6 pk of socks - light & heavy                     

Silver emergency blanket (not regular                      Sun hats/ball caps

blankets)                                                                    Reusable water bottles

Deodorant                                                                 Sunscreen (cream only)    

Small hairbrushes (not combs)                                 Travel size shampoo/conditioner in one

Tarp                                                                           Feminine hygiene products

Toilet paper                                                                Insect repellent (cream only)        

Towelettes/wipes                                                       Rain poncho            

Toothbrush                                                                 Toothpaste

Lip balm                                                                     Travel size body wash                   

Hair elastics for ladies
