Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 13th, and join us from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the beautiful Dixon Park for a day packed with fun, laughter, and meaningful moments.

This year, we’re making it even easier for everyone to participate. For the first time, individuals can register independently and bring along their support worker at no additional cost. It’s all part of our commitment to creating a welcoming and accessible space for everyone in our community.

🌟 What to Expect at the Carnival 🌟

The Canopy Cares Inclusivity Carnival is all about celebrating diversity and bringing people together through shared experiences. We’ve lined up an exciting roster of entertainment and activities for all ages and abilities. Enjoy live performances from local talents including Betty BakerSarah Cee, Dancers from Imagine Dance Studio and the mesmerizing Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts.

Hungry? Grab a delicious BBQ lunch served by the friendly folks at the East City Lions. Kids and families will love the face paintingarts & crafts tentpopcorncotton candy, and the ever-popular “Zen Den” Sensory Tent provided by Autism Home Base. Don’t miss the Family Fun Tattoo Pop-Up hosted by Mike’s Tattoos, and be sure to enter our 50/50 draw and raffle prizes for a chance to win something special!

✨ New Features for 2025! ✨

We’re always looking for ways to make the Carnival even more exciting, and this year we’ve added several new attractions! Try your luck at the Dunk Tank, explore the Touch a Race Car experience, or get creative at our Tie Dye Station — just bring your own item to dye and make it your own!

We’re also introducing a Henna & Glitter Glam Bar, perfect for adding a little sparkle to your day. And in recognition of FASD Awareness Month, our FASD program will be hosting a special area with button makingrock painting, and other hands-on activities. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the important work this program does and how it supports our community.

💜 In the Spirit of Inclusivity 💜

At Canopy, we believe that everyone deserves to feel welcome and included. If the cost of a pass is a barrier to attending the Carnival, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@canopysupport.ca — we’re here to help make sure everyone can join in the fun.

We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate another unforgettable day of community, creativity, and connection. Let’s make this year’s Canopy Cares Inclusivity Carnival the best one yet!
