Donate Candy Toys or Cash! We need a lot of candy and trinkets to fill the children’s treat bags. All donations welcome! Can be dropped off at the Nature Centre during business hours 9am to 4pm daily. We will acknowledge your donation with: Website and social media mention.

This special performance will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald, the Great Lakes freighter that tragically sank on November 10, 1975, claiming the lives of all 29 crew members. The storm that night produced 35-foot waves and 60 mph winds, overwhelming the ship and leaving no survivors. Moved by the story, Gordon Lightfoot went on to write "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"—a deeply emotional ballad that remains a defining part of his legacy.
