Harry Jordan Productions and The Not So Amateur Amateurs are pleased to present:  The Evolution (of Morals, Principles, and Values) by Harry Jordan Fathers are often not very happy about the men that aspire to marry their daughters. As will be seen in this comedy from local playwright Harry Jordan, this situation has been true for at least 10,000 years. The play, directed by Steve Furster and starring Hayley Scanlan and Harry Jordan, examines these challenges through the evolution of Tom Madison, a contemporary man, and his beleaguered family. Tom has formed very specific and outdated views on the subject of who may be an appropriate mate for his little girl. This threatens to derail both his daughter’s happiness and his own.

The Spire transforms into a kaleidoscopic journey through the music, style, and boundary-breaking brilliance of David Bowie. From Ziggy Stardust to the Thin White Duke, every era, persona, and sonic reinvention comes alive in a performance that blends music, pop culture, theatre, and pure creative electricity.
