Royal Canadian Legion Drumhead Ceremony

Sunday, September 21 to Monday, September 22
01:00 PM — 02:00 AM

The Drumhead Ceremony was traditionally held as a means for soldiers in the field to take time for religious and spiritual reflection.  Altars would be fashioned from the Regiment’s drums in cases where a church was unavailable.  The Royal Canadian Legion uses this occasion to bless the ceremonial flags used by the branches.
