16 years ago today at approximately 1:30pm an outside holding area at Horizon Plastics International caught fire. In what some say might have been the largest fire the Town of Cobourg has ever seen caused an estimated damage of $10 million dollars. The owners at the time were Kym and Brian Read. On January 17, 2018 the Read's sold the business to Core Molding Technologies of Columbus, Ohio. After the sale, they both agreed to come into the YourTV studio to sit down and talk with Lynda Kay to talk about everything from how the business started, selling the company and the fire on April 25, 2005
