It's TikTok Tuesday here on Halton News, don't worry, this story does not mean you have to have the app on your phone. It actually applies to various social media where you may be seeing certain health trends. After all we're at the start of a new year, and the number one resolution people make is to drop a few pounds and get healthier. However, for some reason many people believe that taking health advice from so-called influencers is a good thing. Jason Agnew spoke with healthy lifestyle expert Dr. Joyce Johnson to debunk a few of the most notable social media health trends of 2025, but first asked if it's a good thing that people are taking health advice from things they see on social media.
