This summer, let the music move you at our outdoor concert series celebrating community, connection, and the rich sounds of local talent. Join us on the last Thursday of June, July, and August for evenings filled with live music at the Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre from 7- 9pm.

Opening Night: Thursday, June 26 | 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Kick off the season with acclaimed local singer-songwriter Melissa-Marie Shriner who will join with pianist Luis Molina and cellist Marcela Lagunas to bring an exciting concert of vocal music to the Lincoln Museum! This versatile trio will bring the museum grounds to life with a wide-ranging concert program, featuring: Musical theatre favourites (Phantom of the Opera, Cats) Classic jazz standards (Unforgettable, My Funny Valentine) Beloved folk tunes (Danny Boy) Classical crossover hits (The Prayer) Stunning opera arias (Puccini, Strauss) … and so much more!

Admission: Free. Donations Appreciated | All ages welcome
What to Bring: Lawn chairs or picnic blankets encouraged. There is no ATM on site however, snacks as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale during the event.
Parking: Limited along Main Street. Please be mindful of accessibility spaces and use the lot on Nineteenth St. next to the Fire Station if needed.

Harp’n Aboot will be making their debut at the Saturday June 28 Music at Nelles Manor performance. Harp’n Aboot is the duo of Doug Feaver and Ruth Sutherland. They will be playing some songs that are very old and traditional, and mixing those with new songs and pieces that they've written themselves. The music ranges from beautiful ballads to raucous hand-clappers. Hold on to your boots! 

Bring your own chairs, blankets and even a picnic. 

Tickets are $10 Adults, $5 Students, and Children 0 – 13 Free.

Background

Doug Feaver is a singer/songwriter/storyteller/performer from Grimsby Ontario who plays guitar, harmonica, boots, drums, banjo, bass, and sitar, and his roots are in rock, folk and bluegrass music. Ruth Sutherland is a professional singer/songwriter/harpist from Hamilton whose roots are in folk, Celtic, and classical music. She has a trained mezzo-soprano voice, and Doug doesn't! Together, they are two-thirds of the acclaimed Canadian Celtic trio Scantily Plaid, having performed in concerts and festivals across North America and Europe for over two decades ( www.scantilyplaid.com ). As a duo, Ruth and Doug are called "Harp'n aboot"  https://www.instagram.com/harpnaboot/  . Canada Day – July 1 – tours of the Manor will be by donation. 

The tours will be every half hour starting at 10:00 a.m. with the last tour at 3:00 p.m.

  "Echoes and Reflections" is a workshop series that explores collective creativity through personal connections to spaces.  Guided through the lenses of creative writing, music, visual arts, and performing arts;  each workshop offers participants the opportunity to practice multiple arts and to discover meanings that are held in the unique spaces where the workshops are held. 

   Our goal is to create a platform for storytelling and artistic expression that highlights the interconnectedness of spaces and residents/visitors. Through this, we aim to cultivate greater understanding, connection, and appreciation for the places and spaces we live in and the roles the spaces play in shaping our identities, relationships, and sense of belonging. The resulting works will serve as a celebration of the unique ways each individual perceives and interacts with city of Niagara Falls.

The Great Canadian Historical Songbook company will be presenting a family friendly performance on Saturday July 5 as part of Music at Nelles Manor.
