Congratulations to The Niagara Parks on the launch of their newest world class attraction - Niagara Takes Flight, which opens today at the brink of Niagara Falls!

Niagara Takes Flight will soar guests high above Niagara’s most iconic sights, while also immersing them in its rich culture and history. The Ride features never-before-seen perspectives of Niagara Falls captured with cutting-edge drone cinematography, allowing riders to fly inches away from the world’s most powerful waterfall.

The Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic is one of the longest running professional curling events in Canada.

The bonspiel is named in honour of Shorty Jenkins, who was widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential ice makers in the sport of curling.

The Festival runs August 22nd - 23rd at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls.

The 2025 Minto Cup, the National Championship for Junior A Lacrosse in Canada, kicks off this weekend at The Meridian Centre in St. Catharines. 

On Friday, the Host Committee held a Press Conference for members of the media to connect directly with the players and coaches involved in this week's events.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Welland as Habitat for Humanity Niagara began construction on six new townhouses. 

The 2nd annual Chicken Chucking contest at  Black Creek Retirement Homes.  The chicken chucking contest is a bunch of seniors dressed as chickens and throwing rubber chickens for points all for a food drive at the same time to help support the local food banks.

Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff welcomed some very special guests to Niagara Falls Monday, announcing the Ontario government is investing $135 million in water systems and irrigation infrastructure in Niagara and Leamington to help build more homes, protect farmland and keep workers on the job.

Representatives from Niagara Health & EllisDon gave a tour of the South Niagara Hospital two years into the build.
