Fire to Home on Regina Street
Emergency crews responded to a house fire this morning (April 8th) shortly after 8am. Thick black smoke could be seen from kilometres away. When crews arrived the house was fully involved. Fire officials have yet to determine whether or not any individuals suffered any injuries. Full story with an update will be available on Cogeco News at 5pm.

Jack Lyons Memorial Tournament
Teams from Chippewa and West Ferris squared off in the Jack Lyons Memorial Tournament. For the second year in a row, a group of students from Chippewa teamed up with the Lyons family and One Kids Place to coordinate an inspiring hockey tournament with a very worthy cause.
Major Fire in Downtown North Bay
A large downtown building in North Bay's core has been destroyed by fire. The two level structure fronting both Main Street East and Oak Street will be demolished, as The Cedar Tree Lebanese Restaurant & Deluxe Custom Tattoos have been impacted.
