COVID-19 - Regional Emergency Response Council Announcement
The Regional Emergency Response Council announced yesterday that it was receiving 100,343.00, funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, with most of the funding going towards iniatives focusing on food insecurity for seniors.
RERC will also be receiving $330,807 through the Emergency Community Support Fund and has opened an application process for local non-profits currently working with the most vulernable populations in our community.
