Diane Downey - NDP - Oakville
Diane Downey is a Game Design graduate from Sheridan and a game designer with two games on Steam. She fell in love with Oakville when she moved here in 2016 with her family of her parents and twin brothers. Diane volunteers as a Church School Helper at Knox Presbyterian and participates in several NPD equity committees, from Disability Justice to Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ Rights. In her spare time, Diane practises barebow archery and moderates on Twitch for friends.

Links2Care's Coldest Night of the Year Event
Serving nearly 7-thousand individuals across Halton region, Links2Care provides aid for those who are falling through the cracks in our social services. It could include anything from someone who doesn't qualify for funding to get a hearing aid to those who are facing chronic homelessness. Many of the services they provide are funded by the donations received at the annual coldest night of the year event – which takes place this Saturday
