The Peterborough Lakers scored four unanswered goals in the third period to top the Cobourg Kodiaks 12-8 in Major Series Lacrosse action on Sunday Night. Josh Currier led the way for Peterborough with 3 goals and 2 assits. While Tanner Buck had 2 goals and 3 assists in a losing cause for the Kodiaks.

This week Kodiaks Defender Scott Dominey gets the nod for the play of the week for his break away goal on Six Nations goaltender Warren Hill.

The Six Nations Chiefs visited Cobourg on June 4th and topped the Kodiaks 10-7. The Chiefs were led by Lyle Thompson who had 3 goals, while newly acquired Chief Ben McIntosh had a 4 point game. On the Kodiaks side Carson Moyer had 2 goals and 1 assist and Laine Hruska came in relief of starting goaltender Jackson Brown and stopped 14 of the 16 shots he faced.

Cobourg Kodiaks General Manager John Webb joined Scott Arnold during the intermissions of last weeks game against the Brooklin Lacrosse Club. The pair talked about the direction of the club, the new coaches joining the fold and growing the game in Northumberland.
