Town of Huntsville has initiated winter parking regulations. Vehicles are being asked to not park on the streets overnight to make room for snow removal operators. 

The ski hill is taking advantage of the cold snaps of weather Muskoka has been experiencing to make snow. They expect to be open for the season by mid December if the weather continues to cooperate.

The Huntsville Theatre Company is getting ready for their upcoming holiday production. They are also partnering with The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation in an opening night Gala Dinner Fundraiser.

Former Federal Liberal candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka, Trisha Cowie, announced she will be putting her name forward to potential be the candidate once again for the election on 2019. Cowie made the announcement at an inaugural Federal Liberal Riding Association Women’s Club meeting at the Pine Lodge Inn on Nov. 15.

FITT Gym held their annual Train the Trainer event on Nov. 14. They hoped to raise at least $20,000 and donate to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation for a new birthing bed.

The 844 Norseman Royal Canadian Air Cadets is taking part in several Remembrance Day activities. The one many of them look most forward too is overnight guard duty at the cenotaph.

It's week three of the Canada Post strike. Rotating strikes have been happening across the country including here in Muskoka. On Nov. 9 workers in Huntsville took to the picket lines.
