Heritage Train Derailment
The Heritage Train has come off the rails on the evening of May 19th. The Heritage Train and Carousel Company spokesperson has told us that there were no injuries to volunteers or passengers aboard the train. The TSSA Technical Standards and Safety Authority have been called in and the train will remain on it's side until a full investigation is conducted.

May 5th is Red Dress Day
The North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre commemorated Red Dress Day on May 5th to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people, including two spirit, transgender, and gender diverse individuals. The event took place at the North Bay Waterfront.
Collision on Saturday HWY 11/17 Bypass
There are few details but emergency crews were called out to a multi vehicle collision that took place on the Highway 11/17 bypass on Saturday afternoon. The collision took place between Cassells Street and O'Brien Street. We will update on Cogeco News.
Two Motorcycles and an SUV Collide
One motorcyclist is in stable condition, the other has been released from hospital after their motorcycles they were driving collided with an SUV on Lakeshore Drive, Sunday. There were no injuries reported to the driver of the SUV who has been charged with Fail to Yield from Driveway.
