On January 28, 2021 at approximately 1:25 p.m. members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fire at an automotive repair business on Petawawa Boulevard in the Town of Petawawa. Employees were able to safely evacuate and no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire. A section of Petawawa Boulevard is currently closed between Civic Centre Drive and Mohns Avenue as firefighters from the Petawawa Fire Department battle the fire.
