Bernie Nicholls Night
The Kingston Frontenacs raised Bernie Nicholls number 16 to the rafters on Saturday November 18 at Leon’s Centre.
Bernie skated with the Kingston Canadians from 1979 until 1981. During his rookie season in 1979-80, Nicholls scored 36 goals and collected 79 points. He followed up his freshman season with the greatest season the franchise has ever seen. In 65 games played, Bernie scored an astonishing 63 goals, 89 assists, for a team record 152 points.
