In the northern part of Georgetown you can find the community of Glen Williams. This unique area has been featured in Hallmark movies and has had visits from the Prime Minister and his family more than once. 2025 marked the 200 anniversary of this hamlet. Its no secret that we are in the midst of a housing crisis here in Ontario. In an effort to encourage quicker growth, the province announced a "building faster fund" that rewards municipalities that meet at least 80% of the targets set out by the province... and the town of Milton recently exceeded their goal!
