The Canadian Forces Snowbirds made a visit to the Niagara District Airport in NOTL. They spent the morning speaking to students about aviation, teamwork, the Canadian Military and flying for The Snowbirds. The squadron performed an Air Demonstration later in the day as part of a fundraiser for The Niagara Historical Society & Museum. Brenda Schultz reports.

The 11th annual Big Move Cancer Ride saw over 550 cyclists take part in the fundraising event to benefit the Niagara Health Foundation. Since its inception in 2009, over 4 million dollars has been raised for the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Mike Balsom reports.

Bertie & Clinton Mutual Insurance Company created the Community Grants Program to help not-for profits in Niagara. 7 local organizations were presented with cheques totalling over $110,000! More grants will be given out after November 1st. Brenda Schultz reports.

Young newcomer artists were invited to create pieces to display and sell at the first ever Diverse Art Project. The show was hosted by the Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre in St. Catharines. Jennifer Wittig reports.
