Kinsmen Pool Temporarily Closed
On October 16th, the city of Pembroke notified residents that the Kinsmen Pool would be temporarily closed. The city of Pembroke is closing the pool due to a pump failure. The Parks and Recreation Department is dealing with supply chain issues, which is leading to an extended closure window. Looking at approximately ten weeks until the pump can arrive, staff will begin to contact patrons who have registered for aquatic swimming lesson programs and to discuss reimbursement options this week into the following weeks.
So if you are one of those paying patrons, expect to be contacted by the City of Pembroke. The city is actively monitoring the Kinsmen pool and updates will be provided as they become available. Any questions or concerns are to be directed to the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Pembroke.
