Finding the “awe” in nature—like discovering a story that speaks to you—can encourage creativity and emotional growth. Telling Tales’ partnership with Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) provides the perfect opportunity to connect children and their families with stories, nature, and art. The 14th Annual Telling Tales Festival returns to in-person programming over 2 days at RBG’s world-renowned Hendrie Park. Join Canada’s finest children’s authors & illustrators, along with local artists, performers, and RBG Ambassadors who will engage with families in story readings, nature walks, creative workshops, music, and more. The natural surroundings of RBG, beautifully accented by the Dan Lawrie International Sculpture Collection is the ideal setting to open a book and open a world.

Concerts on the Dock is back in Huntsville for another summer complete with a stellar line up of folk, country, jazz, bluegrass and more! This free Algonquin Theatre event, sponsored by Royal LePage Lakes of Muskoka Realty - Sue Burke, occurs every Wednesday night at 7:00pm throughout July and August. “We are so thrilled to bring another summer of incredible music to downtown Huntsville,” notes Algonquin Theatre Manager Matt Huddlestone. “It’s a fantastic way to spend time with family and friends, discovering new music or enjoying some of Huntsville’s talented local musicians.” Concerts on the Docks starts July 6, 2022 at Town Dock Park in Downtown Huntsville. Bring a lawn chair, a friend, a donation for the band, and enjoy an evening of music overlooking the shores of the Muskoka River. The 2022 Concert on the Docks summer lineup features:

The annual Bandshell Concert Series is returning to Memorial Park on Wednesday nights from July 6 until September 7 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. This summer tradition in Downtown Bracebridge BIA features an eclectic mix of live local talent that is sure to keep the whole family entertained.
