Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Celebrate Museum Day on May 18!
Visit Ireland House Museum on Sunday, May 18 from 1pm to 4pm for a fun line-up of activities as we celebrate International Museum Day! Go on Victorian themed scavenger hunt, discover the simple fun of Victorian era toys and learn how to churn butter! Activities are included in regular Museum admission (free for members) and available throughout the afternoon. The family rate is $30 (includes up to 2 adults and 4 children).
Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Beer, Cheese and Video Games - Dad's Night Out
Celebrate dad with the delicious pairing of local craft beer and artisanal cheese! Join us on Sunday, June 8, 2025 for our “Dad’s Night Out: Beer & Cheese Tasting Workshop” at Joseph Brant Museum. The evening will feature a 1-hour interactive workshop pairing a selection of craft beers from Northern Crow Brewing with complimentary artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and a fresh-baked pretzel.
Tickets are $50/person ($45/members) and include a 1-hour workshop with 3 beer samples, complimentary cheese samples, a classic salt pretzel from Mr. Pretzel Burlington, and admission to the Museum galleries.
Doors open at 6pm and the workshop begins at 7pm, with the opportunity to view the Museum galleries before and after. Galleries include the featured exhibit, “Game Changers’. **
