On Friday, October 24th we host a FREE (ticketed) event for adult day programs & families with children with special needs.  We are looking to the community for help with filling their treat bags for the event.  Saturday, October 25th is the community event and tickets are $12 per child.

Donate Candy Toys or Cash! We need a lot of candy and trinkets to fill the children’s treat bags. All donations welcome! Can be dropped off at the Nature Centre during business hours 9am to 4pm daily. We will acknowledge your donation with: Website and social media mention.

Help us to provide special memories as we invite families in the Region for a fun and safe Halloween celebration at HEARTLAND FOREST. The event offers Tootsie Express train rides, a ‘passport’ full of fun activities, lunch options, on-site mini-putt, playground and nature walks ALL in an accessible setting. The best part of the event is our Trail of Treats where children – of all abilities – can safely walk Heartland’s trails, passing through the haunted tree house, while they collect treats.
