A fun Car Rally through the country to see the Colors of Nature. The Rally will begin at the Canadian Canoe Museum with sign up time ar 9 AM and Rally start time a 10:00 AM SHARP. The Cost is only $20.00 per vehicle (including driver) and $10 per passanger. Lunch is included in the price. The route will travel though Chemung up to Apsly and then down to Havelock before it heads back to Peterborough.

Happening September 20th - Join us for our 45th Anniversary Celebration Open House from 1-3:30pm on the grounds of the museum (277 King Street) which will feature music, refreshments and a special contest. Admission is by donation, and registration for the in-person event is required. For the safety of everyone, masks are mandatory. Decorate your mask and come celebrate with us! The most creative mask will win a museum prize package!

The Visual Artists of Welland is having a Silent Art Auction at The Black Sheep Lounge, 64 Niagara Street, Welland-- from Wednesday, Sept. 16 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27.  Many members of the VAW have donated a painting each for this event.  The max size of each painting is approximately 11’’ x 14’’.  All different media--acrylic, oil, watercolour, etching, etc.  And many different subjects.  ALL proceeds from the Silent Art Auction will go to Women’s Place/Serenity House in Welland.  All bids will start at $50.00 with increments of $5.00.  The max bid is $85.00!  That’s correct--you can own a piece of original art for a max price of $85.00!!!
