South Cameron Boulevard will be closed between Northwood Street and Dougall Avenue, and traffic will be detoured via Northwood Avenue to Dominion Boulevard. 

Southbound Dougall Avenue will have a lane reduction between South Cameron Boulevard and E.C. Row Expressway, but access to westbound E.C. Row will remain open from 7am to 5pm ongoing until Monday, May 11.

 

True North Church

True North Church is a non-denominational church in Milton that offers inspirational and practical Biblical teaching that connects with people of all ages, races, and walks of life. The church provides YourTV with coverage of their weekly service for air on our channel in the North Halton area.

Halton Women's Place

YourTV partners with HWP to not only highlight the excellent work they do for the community of Halton, but to also produce their monthly program with the same name, highlighting the vital support and programs they provide both women and children facing abuse within our community.

Conservation Halton

YourTV and Conservation Halton have partnered in the past to produce PSA’s highlighting our local conservation areas, as well as have provided coverage on our "Halton News" program.  Currently, a new series is being produced in partnership with CA titled "Halton's Great Outdoors".  Watch for it soon on our channel!

Community Event - Niagara - Relay At Home on Saturday June 13 from 7 - 9 p.m.

This year, we have reimagined Relay For Life into Relay At Home - a new, fun and interactive way for you to Relay online from the comfort of your home and respect physical distancing.  Participants of all ages are welcome to attend the online event on June 13 from 7 - 9 p.m. EST.

Relay At Home will have interactive activities for all ages and feature the hallmark components from our in-person events to help celebrate survivors and remember those we've lost to cancer.  Donations will support people living with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following up on the visioning workshop held in 2019, the City of Windsor and consultant BrookMcIlroy are now engaging the community for additional feedback on a new districting plan for Walkerville.

How do you want to see Walkerville evolve? What makes Walkerville a special place? How can Walkerville be more comfortable, beautiful, welcoming and inclusive?

As part of the second phase of the project, a new community engagement survey provides opportunities for more detailed feedback on ten Initiatives, Improvements, Projects, and Opportunities (IIPOs) that emerged as a result of the visioning workshop.

Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - Windsor Youth Short Film Showcase

The WINDSOR YOUTH SHORT FILM SHOWCASE is a livestream film screening showcasing a compilation of works made by young Windsor filmmakers from ages 13 to 24. This is an opportunity to give young filmmakers a platform to present their films and to be recognized across the community for their work. The showcase will screen online for one week. Viewers will have a chance to vote via an online survey for a series of audience choice awards including “Best Production,” “Best Cast,” and
“Best Rookie Film” (for directors ages 17 and under). Nominations and awards will be announced via a live stream ceremony. All genres welcome!

To submit, filmmakers must be residents of Windsor-Essex, between the ages of 13 to 24 (at the time the film was completed). The film must have been made after January 2018. Filmmakers must submit a fine cut of their film, along with the submission package which can be found on the Windsor Youth Short Film Showcase website. Submissions are open from May 13 - May 20, 2020. 

The Windsor Youth Short Film Showcase will stream online June 5 - June 12. During this time, audiences can vote for their favourite films for the Audience Choice Awards. 

The award ceremony will livestream on June 19, 2020.
