Community Event - Smiths Falls/Perth/North Grenville - Movie Weekend at The Station Theatre - White Bird
Julian has struggled to belong ever since he was expelled from his former school for his treatment of Auggie Pullman. To transform his life, Julian’s grandmother finally reveals her own story of courage. During her youth in Nazi-occupied France, a boy shelters her from mortal danger. Together, they find first love in a stunning, magical world of their own creation, while the boy’s mother risks everything to keep her safe.

World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical worship service to pray for world peace and reconciliation. It is held once a year. This year the event will be held on Friday 7 March 2025 at 2:00 pm. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 280 Lourdesview Drive, Pembroke ON.
Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - Peterborough Spring Coin Show - 2025
Hosted by the Peterborough Numismatic Society:Everyone welcome, one day only, Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at Westdale United Church, 1509 Sherbrooke St. W., Peterborough, ON, K9K 0E6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.There is an entry fee of only $2.00 and children under 12 free. There is free parking, barrier free access and a snack bar.There will be 11 dealers from around Ontario and Quebec to satisfy your collecting needs. If you are interested in or currently collecting coins, medallions, bills, notes or tokens, there will be something here for you. An opportunity like this is usually only available locally but once a year, so don’t miss out.
There will be displays and exhibits of numismatic material from around the world. Come out and enjoy yourself and bring the whole family. This is something of interest for all ages. You don’t need to be a collector to enjoy yourself.
