Join us for a celebration of Doctor James B. Collip’s life! Dr. Collip was born in Belleville, Ontario on Nov. 20, 1892 and we’re hosting a Big Birthday Party in honour of his contribution to the discovery of insulin on Wed. Nov. 20 at 6:30p.m. A film clip from local Filmmaker, Sean Scally, will kick off the evening followed by a short film, “The Quest” about Dr. Collip and the discovery of insulin. Light refreshments will be served, enter a draw to win fantastic prizes! No registration is required for this free event.

Le Bazar de Noël et son Marché d'hiver aura lieu ce vendredi 1er novembre de 18h30 à 20h30, et ce samedi 2 novembre de 9h à 12h, au sous-sol de l'église Assomption (avenue Wilson, entrée par la rue Bernard).
Ce sera une occasion de vous procurer des pièces uniques et faites à la main, par des bénévoles du bazar. La plupart de ces pièces sont éco-responsables puisqu'elles incluent des éléments de la nature ou recyclés. Vous trouverez des articles de décoration et d'ambiance, ainsi que des cadeaux d'hôtesse ou à glisser dans les bas de Noël, pour petits et grands.
Nos arbres artificiels, lumières et décorations seront aussi en vente.
