The Niagara Falls Writer's Festival is a city-wide event located at three Niagara Falls Public Library branches. The Victoria, Community (McBain Centre) and Stamford branches.

With 6 different workshops from masters of their craft the festival aims to help aspiring career writers and maybe even inspire a few others to find their writing voice!

Fonthill United Church's 16th annual Christmas House Tour - November 16, 2019 from 10 am to 3 pm. Tour six homes in Pelham, professionally decorated for Christmas. Tickets: $25 includes light refreshments. Call 905-892-6433 to reserve; tickets will be on sale mid-October.

The month of October would not be complete without the Halloween tradition. Look out for young ghostly ghouls and goblins on Saturday, October 26th from 1 - 3 p.m. when Hutchison House Museum will host an afternoon of children's activities at the museum. Tradition is the order of the day with crafts, apple games, fortune telling, tricks and treats. Admission for the Haunted Halloween spooktacular event is $5 per person. Costumes are encouraged and an adult must accompany young children. While we do make the upper levels of the house a little spooky, it is not our intention to scare anyone.
