September is Recovery Month in Canada and celebrations across the nation have been bringing communities together to combat negative perceptions towards individuals in recovery. In 2018, Niagara joined the party!

Our mission is to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving life for individuals, families, and communities. We believe that recovery saves lives. We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is a common, celebrated reality - a world where individuals will not experience shame when seeking help. We are passionate about sharing the faces, voices and stories of recovery in hopes of inspiring and inviting others to join us on the rewarding, yet diverse, path to wholeness.

Recovery Day is a 'for the people, by the people event' and there has never been a better way to raise our voices for recovery from addiction. Enjoy live music and inspiring speakers sharing messages of hope from the outdoor stage. Browse the indoor marketplace discover the many pathways to recovery. and meet some of the inspiring individuals leading the way in our community.
