Dance to the music of the nine piece live band 'Plan B'

Military Records – The Fallen 1899 - 1947 – On Tuesday, November 5th, the Nipissing District Branch of Ontario Ancestors, the Ontario Genealogical Society, will be hosting another in our “Back to Basics” series on how to locate and obtain available records for soldiers of the Boer War, World Wars 1 and 2.  The presentation will be given by Pam Tessier in Nipissing Branch’s genealogical library on the upstairs mezzanine, North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington Street East, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  For more information, please call (705)474-4830, extension 2833.  All are welcome!

ID Clinic to be Held at Chatham-Kent Public Library, Wallaceburg Branch

 

Chatham-Kent Public Library, in partnership with Chatham-Kent Employment and Social Services and Service Canada, is offering an ID Clinic for anyone who needs help getting identification. This Clinic will be held at the Wallaceburg Branch.

 

Clinics will offer individuals assistance with filling out online or paper Birth Certificate applications for all provinces in Canada. Those who require photo ID will gain an understanding of the purpose of photo ID and the steps they will need to take to acquire the Photo ID card. CKPL’s partnership has extended to Service Canada who will be onsite to assist anyone who requires a Social Insurance Number (SIN) or Personal Access Code and to answer any questions applicable to their services.

 

Participation for this clinic is First Come First Serve. There is NO FEE to attend and financial screening will be available for those who may need assistance with payment for identification.

We are a private establishment however we are open to the public.

            So, c'mon down and enjoy a home cooked meal ...

Every Monday night is Euchre, all are welcomed to play. (begins at 7:30pm sharp)

Friday's we serve dinners (5:30pm - 7:30pm)

Sunday's we serve breakfasts. (9am - 11:30am)
