September 21 and 22, 10am–5pm at Central Park Athletics, 3400 Grand Marais Rd. E. This year’s 25th Annual Children’s Fest promises a weekend filled with spectacular live entertainment and an array of exciting hands-on activities that are sure to please the whole family.
Since its inception in 1995 as a project of Rotary Club of Windsor (1918), over 80,000 visitors have attended this event to enjoy a weekend of activities, family fun and learning experiences. The Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA) continues to partner with Rotary to bring this amazing event to the community.
For a $5/per person entry fee (free for children 2 and under), Children’s Fest offers continuous live entertainment, over 60 family-friendly vendors and community agencies, a wellness zone, bouncy castles, sports activities, pony rides, dog shows and many different mascots. The action and Adventure Zone will be back again, featuring model train exhibits, Canadian Historical Aircraft Museum displays and the opportunity to learn more about robotics.
New this year, Central Park Athletics will be offering demonstrations of their new Clip'n Climb Rock Climbing Area! Winstar Gymnastics, The Windsor Express and the Rose City Riot Parasport Wheelchair Basketball team will be hosting demos as well.
