Tecumseh Council approved the 2020 Business Plan and Budget Timetable at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

The public is encouraged to ask questions or provide comments on the 2020 Budget through the Town’s website, social media or to provide written correspondence during the period of September 12 to September 30, 2019. An on-line budget survey is available on the Town’s website during this timeframe. Alternatively, a printed budget survey can be picked up at Town Hall.

The Draft 2020 Budget will be received by Tecumseh Council at their regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Deliberation and review of the Draft 2020 Budget will take place by Tecumseh Council on the following date: Tuesday, November 19, 2019 commencing at 5:00 pm

The Draft 2020 Budget will be available on the Town’s website on November 12, 2019. Questions or inquiries on the Draft 2020 Budget can be directed to the following at 519-735-2184:

The Tech Awards powered by Deloitte recognizes and rewards technology innovators of all stages for their achievement and success all while raising the profile of the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent tech community.

These awards are part of a week-long celebration – Tech Week YQG from October 21 - October 26.

Companies eligible for the awards include companies of all stages and sectors including: Advanced Manufacturing and Autotech, Digital Media & IT, Medtech, Agritech and Cleantech.

The Tech Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the impactful leaders in the local tech sector and to strengthen networks within the tech community. Close to 200 people will attend, comprising tech entrepreneurs, CEOs and tech start-ups, plus corporate advisors, investors, tech consultants and media.

This year WEtech has introduced two new award categories, including ‘Women in Tech of the Year’ recognizing the achievements of women in technology fields, and two '#OMGrobot Awards' recognizing a FIRST Robotics Student and Alumni who have made outstanding contribution to their team, school and community.

This year’s awards will piggyback on the 4th Annual Nerd Olympics Closing Ceremonies powered by Code Ninjas Windsor and the official closing of Tech Week YQG on October 26th.
