Do you identify as LGBT2SQ+ or as an ally? Come out to the True Colours Prom with Free 2B Me! Hope House invites youth ages 16 to 25 to embrace themselves in any outfit of their choice. Join us in celebration of CK Pride Week, Friday, August 16th, 2019 from 6:00 - 10:00pm at Hope House on 71 Raleigh St. Chatham, N7M 2M9.  This is a FREE event! 

We will be providing a meal, pop and water. There will also be fun games, prizes, a photobooth and dancing. There will be a private, indoor space to get dressed before and after the event for those who need it due to safety concerns. The venue is partially wheelchair accessible, with an accessible indoor, gender-neutral washroom. This is a free event, please RSVP with sam@mhnck.com to reserve your spot.

Everyone knows that a picture says a thousand words, but a good book says a thousand more! This September, get your hands on some amazing finds and support the Kingston Symphony’s Volunteer Committee by checking out the annual Book Fair! A range of genres are available to satisfy the tastes of all book lovers including recent fiction, mysteries, military, Canadiana, children’s books, young adult novels, sheet music and more! An abundance of adventure awaits Kingston readers!

 

The sale opens on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 and runs until Sunday, September 15, 2019. There is opening night admission charge. There is no admission fee for the remainder of the sale. For more details, please see below.
