Join us on May 18th for The Forgotten Feral Cat Rescue (TFF) 3rd Annual yard sale!! It will be HUGE!! Volunteers have spent months sorting, cleaning and pricing items. We will also happily be accepting donations of cat food & funds at the event.

When: Saturday, May 18th, 2019 from 7:30am to 3:30 pm

Where: 564 Magnolia Drive (Greenwood Park subdivision)

The Forgotten Ferals is a 100% volunteer run/foster-based local cat rescue that provides various services to Kingston and the surrounding communities. It is our goal to try to reduce the cat overpopulation by helping to spay and neuter as many “Community Cats” (feral, stray, free-roaming) as we can.

In 2018, The Forgotten Ferals took 275 cats & kittens into their adoption program, finding homes for 227, and also helped provide TNVR (Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return) for an additional 48 cats.  We rely solely on adoption fees, fundraising and donations.

We hope to see you there!

Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - Celebration of Life

In 2014 Victoria Manor lost three residents in one week, none of whom had a funeral. When one of the residents said to their Executive Director, Leigh Vachon “it’s like they were never here, it’s like we don’t matter” she realized that they needed to do much more to ensure that anyone who resided in the home would be remembered. She began to then think about all of those people in our community who do not have people to remember them, and the idea of the Celebration of Life was born. The first Celebration of life was held last year and this year’s, in partnership with the Good Shepherd Parish in Lakeshore, will be a beautiful tribute to those who have no one.

Celebration of Life: A Service for the Unclaimed Bodies of Windsor-Essex, Co-hosted by Victoria Manor Supportive Housing & the Good Shepherd Parish. This multi-faith Celebration of Life is for those who have passed away and were unclaimed for burial, for those who died alone, and for those who have gone without a funeral or some other celebration of their life lived. This year's theme is "A Life Lived has Meaning”.

Wednesday May 22, 7:00pm at Good Shepherd Parish, 462 Advance Blvd, Lakeshore
