Calvin Presbyterian Church North Bay is hosting a presentation of the Knitting Pilgrim on Tuesday May 28, 7:00 pm in North Bay. The Knitting Pilgrim is a one-man play & talkback about the real-life artistic and spiritual journey of Kirk Dunn, who took 15 years to knit a triptych of tapestries, designed in the style of stained glass windows, The large tapestries look at the commonalities and conflicts of the Abrahamic Faiths – Judaism, Christianity and Islam –. They are each 5.5’ wide x 9’ high and will be on display during the presentation. The presentation, provides an opportunity to bring God's people together in understanding, love and respect by listening and sharing of each other's views. The Knitting Pilgrim hopes to create conversation around the rise of populism, xenophobia, and fear of the ‘other.’ It speaks to our need to practice empathy and to enter into complex conversations, that aren’t black and white, about why people struggle to get along in the world today.

Tickets are $20 and available from Calvin Presbyterian Church North Bay Tuesday – Friday between 9:00 and 1:00 and at Stix and Stones 147 Main St. W. North Bay. Tickets will be available at the door.
