Community Event - Niagara - Silent Auction in Support of Animal Rescue

In recognition of our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY Husky Travel Centre ( NOTL / St. Catharines ) will be hosting a special Mother’s Day Celebration Silent Auction.  Prizes and bidding sheets will be made available on site at Husky’s from April 26th – May 10th, bidding closes at 3pm Saturday May 10th.

We’re delighted to confirm the generous  donations from following NOTL businesses in support of the Silent Auction:  Bella’s Traveling High Tea, Reif Estate Winery, Dining with Davis, and Coconut Quartz.

About us: Community Initiative for Animal Rescue (CIFAR) is a NOTL based fundraising group (not for profit) that was founded May 10 /2024.  Our volunteers raise money and host pet food drives to benefit rescue groups in the Niagara Region who fall short of their fundraising efforts or have experienced a veterinary medical emergency. To date CIFAR has supported the following agencies: Rebel Dog Rescue, Newark Neighbours Pet Pantry (Food Bank), Journey Fosters Niagara , N-SNAP ( Niagara Spay Neuter Assistance Program), Joy’s Rescue, Angel’s Rest Dog Rescue, Happy Days Sanctuary, The Heart & Hope Lost & Found Pets Niagara Region, and NOTL Cats.

The OAKVILLE FESTIVALS OF FILM AND ART (OFFA), Oakville’s independent film and arts festival, is proud to announce the 12th Annual Oakville Film Festival set for June 18th - June 25th in Oakville and Mississauga, Ontario. The Festival will kick off at Film.Ca Cinemas in Kerr Village on Wednesday, June 18th and run until June 25th with three (3) Gala screenings at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts in downtown Oakville on Thursday, June 19th, Friday, June 20th, and Saturday, June 21st.
