Come celebrate Peterborough Folk Festival's 30th anniversary - kicked off by Juno Award Winning William Prince at Market Hall on Aug. 15th and Donovan Woods on Aug. 16th then a full weekend of amazing music at Nicolls Oval Park including a Tribe Called Red, Fred Penner, Kathleen Edwards, Matt Mayes, internationally reknowned hoop dancer, Nimkii Osawamick and emerging artists the Paper Shakers amongst many more. It is all volunteer run and if you can lend a helping hand for a couple of hours over the weekend- you'll make the festival a great one! Community Event - Kingston - Spinal Hygiene Workshop @ Thrive Chiropractic
Join us for our next workshop on Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 from 6:00 – 7:00pm, where you will learn a set of practices designed to maintain your spinal health.
As we guide you through a series of stretches and exercises, we will be discussing what spinal hygiene is, why it is so important, and how proper spinal hygiene practices can help with a variety of things including:
- Preventing spinal degeneration
- Promoting intervertebral disc health
- Maintaining spinal health
- Improving range of motion and flexibility

Register Today For The 2019 Hike For Hospice!
Join Hospice Quinte for our annual Hike for Hospice on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Centennial Park in Quinte West!
This family-friendly event rallies together individuals from across the Quinte region to celebrate the lives of our loved ones passed, and to raise funds for the professional and compassionate end-of-life and bereavement support services that Hospice Quinte provides to the residents of our community. Register with family, friends or as an individual, and choose to walk or run 2.5km or 5km (Hike route x2) and enjoy a luncheon afterwards!
Hospice Quinte challenges each Hiker to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges (download the pledge form).
Registration is $25/ per Hiker. Each Hike participant will receive an official Hospice Quinte Hike For Hospice t-shirt, lunch and refreshments following the Hike. The registration fee will be waived for Hikers who raise $100 or more in pledges.
